File setup

File setup guide for peptide labels and stickers.

Get files production-ready the first time. Follow the basics below, then download our templates.

Required file basics

  • Use the correct template size
  • Include bleed
  • Keep important text inside the safe margin
  • Use high-resolution images
  • Outline fonts or package fonts
  • Submit vector PDF when possible
  • Check QR code size and scan quality
  • Review at actual printed size

Bleed, cut line & safe margin

Bleed
Extend artwork past the cut so trimming leaves no white edge.
Cut line
Where the label is trimmed to final size.
Safe margin
Keep important text and logos inside this line.

QR code requirements

  • Minimum recommended QR size: 0.375"
  • Test QR before approval
  • Avoid placing QR too close to edges
  • Use high-contrast QR codes
  • Make sure destination links are final
Print, scan, then approve

Test every final destination on the chosen material.

Real-size print check

Artwork can look perfectly readable on screen but become too small once printed on an actual vial label. Always review at 100% actual printed size before approving.
